بنابر اعلام مدیر سرمایه‌گذاری سازمان منطقه آزاد ارس سهم این منطقه از ۲۰۰ بسته‌ی جدید سرمایه‌گذاری ۳۰ بسته است که راه‌اندازی ارس‌ایرلاین و احداث نیروگاه خورشیدی، آکواریم شیشه‌‌ای و پارک آبی و… بخشی از آنهاست.
حجت الله عبدالملکی در مراسم رونمایی از این بسته‌ها در نمایشگاه توانمندی‌های صادراتی جمهوری اسلامی ایران اظهار داشت: سال گذشته میزان سرمایه‌گذاری در حوزه ساختمان، ماشین‌آلات و کارخانه‌ها در مناطق آزاد سه برابر سال ۱۴۰۱ بود.
وی ادامه داد: پروژه‌هایی که سال گذشته ساخت آن‌ها آغاز شد ۷.۵ برابر سال ۱۴۰۱ بود. این اتفاقات در اثر اهتمام ویژه به حوزه سرمایه‌گذاری است که تداوم خواهد داشت.
دبیر شورایعالی مناطق آزاد و ویژه اقتصادی با بیان اینکه مناطق آزاد به پیشران اصلی اقتصادی کشور تبدیل خواهند شد، خاطرنشان ساخت: در ۲ سال اخیر مناطق آزاد و ویژه اقتصادی به مقصد جایگزین برای خروج سرمایه از کشور تبدیل شد، از این رو افرادی که تصمیم داشتند سرمایه‌هایشان را از کشور خارج کنند، امروز به منطقه آزاد مراجعه کرده و از مزیت‌های سرمایه‌گذاری استفاده می‌کنند.
وی در پایان افزود: بسته‌های سرمایه‌گذاری از چند میلیارد تومان تا چند هزار میلیارد تومان و در بخش‌های مختلف از صنایع غذایی، صنایع پوشاک، فناوری اطلاعات، گردشگری، خودرویی، صنایع شیمیایی و پتروشیمی و در همه مناطق مخالف کشور، بسته‌های مختلفی تهیه شده است.
