به گزارش بردباری نیوز،دکتر مسعود پزشکیان در ادامه برنامه‌های سفر به نیویورک، پیش از ظهر امروز سه‌شنبه به وقت محلی در دیدار جمعی از «علمای دینی»، با طرح این سوال که تفاوت شیعه با سنی و به طور کلی اسلام با دیگر ادیان چیست؟ تصریح کرد: اساسا دعوت به حق و عدالت حرف و سخن اصلی همه پیامبران بوده است، چنانکه خداوند در قرآن کریم به حضرت داوود می‌گوید تو را خلیفه کردیم تا بین مردم بر اساس حق قضاوت کنی و تابع هوای نفس نشوی که تو را از راه خدا به ضلالت می‌کشاند.
رئیس جمهور با بیان اینکه اگر ادعا داریم شیعه هستیم، باید در عمل آن را نشان دهیم تا منش و روش شیعه نشان داده شود، افزود: شیعه واقعی به تعبیر امیرالمومنین علی (ع) قبل از اینکه بخواهد دیگران را هدایت کند، اول خود را اصلاح می‌کند و آنچه بخواهد به دیگران بگوید را در عمل خود نشان می‌دهد؛ رفتار یک شیعه واقعی بر گفتار او مقدم است.
دکتر پزشکیان همچنین با بیان اینکه مشکل امروز ما در ایران اسلامی نیز رفتار ماست و نه عقاید و باورهای ما اظهار داشت: اساس باورهای ما عدالت، حق و انصاف است و اگر هم می‌خواهیم این اصول را معرفی و تبلیغ کنیم، باید با عمل خودمان این کار را بکنیم. اگر در عمل اینگونه عمل نکنیم، تفاوتی ندارد که چه باور و مرامی را تبلیغ کنیم چرا که اگر حرف و عمل ما تطبیق نداشته باشد و گفتار ما برآمده از رفتار ما نباشد، خریدار ندارد.
رئیس جمهور با اشاره به اینکه خدا، کتاب و پیامبر ما مسلمانان یکی است و یکی از اصلی‌ترین دستورات خدا، کتاب و پیامبر نیز وحدت و عدم اختلاف و تفرقه است، گفت: اگر به این دستور عمل کردیم زینت دین و باور خود خواهیم بود، اما اگر عمل نکردیم علیه خدا، کتاب و پیامبر عصیان کرده‌ایم.
دکتر پزشکیان خاطرنشان کرد: همه حجت ما در تشیع آن است که چون علی ابن ابی‌طالب عادل‌تر بود، امام است، لذا اگر قرار باشد عدالت و انصاف و حق را نادیده بگیریم، دیگر چه فرقی دارد که پیرو کدام مذهب و دین هستیم یا اساسا دیندار هستیم یا نه!
رئیس جمهور در ادامه با بیان اینکه امروز در جمهوری اسلامی ما همه ابزار قدرت و هدایت مردم از مساجد، مدارس، رسانه، دانشگاه و دیگر عرصه‌های هدایت مردم را در اختیار داریم، اما برون‌داد همه این امکانات و ابزار حتی مورد رضایت خود ما نیز نیست، گفت: آیا مقصر اینکه ماحصل نظام تعلیم و تربیت ما حتی رضایت خود ما را جلب نمی‌کند، آمریکاست؟!
دکتر پزشکیان با تاکید بر اینکه عمل ما گویای باطن افکار و عقاید ماست و نه سخن و گفتار ما، افزود: ما به گونه‌ای عمل و رفتار نکرده‌ایم که جوانان و مردم دوست داشته باشند، مثل ما باشند. باید طوری عمل می‌کردیم که برای تربیت و هدایت آنها نیازی به زور نباشد و از روی رغبت بخواهند از عمل ما پیروی کنند. این یک الگو و مدل برای همه جوامع در همه دنیاست و اگر ما ادعا می‌کنیم که می‌خواهیم برادر و غمخوار هم باشیم، این ادعا باید در عمل خودش را نشان دهد.
رئیس جمهور اظهار داشت: امروز ۲ میلیارد مسلمان نظاره‌گر جنایات یک اقلیت کوچک صهیونیست علیه فلسطینیان مظلوم غزه هستند و کاری هم جز محکومیت این جنایات نمی‌توانند بکنند که آن هم فایده و خاصیتی ندارد، اما اگر مسلمانان برادری خود را در عمل اثبات کرده بودند و امروز با وحدت و انسجام کنار هم بودند، آیا باز هم رژیم صهیونیستی جرأت داشت چنین غلط‌هایی کند!
دکتر پزشکیان با بیان اینکه صراط مستقیم الهی که ما هم از خداوند می‌خواهیم ما را به آن هدایت کند، وحدت و انسجام است، تصریح کرد: منیت، خودخواهی و زیاده‌خواهی ریشه‌های اختلاف و تفرقه هستند و اگر از منیت دست برداریم، به صراط مستقیم هدایت خواهیم شد.
پیش از سخنان رئیس جمهور نیز حاضران در این نشست در سخنانی به معرفی خود، تشریح فعالیت‌ها و ارائه دیدگاه‌هایشان پرداختند. تلاش برای تسهیل تعامل و مراوده میان دو ملت ایران و آمریکا به منظور رفع سوءتفاهمات نسبت به یکدیگر مهمترین محور سخنان مطرح شده از سوی حاضران در این نشست بود.
